    • Same here: Ruffner Mountain is named for William Henry Ruffner, a Washington & Lee geologist who surveyed the mineral resources along the Georgia-Pacific Railway through the Birmingham District in 1883. Ruffner was a cousin to Patti Ruffner Jacobs, a notable Birmingham suffragist. --Dystopos 23:12, 7 February 2011 (PST)
