Hwy 280 Improvements
Yes, I read the photo of the marker in the external links. ("The church was torn down when Highway 280 was improved.") But that really understates things. If you compare maps of the area from 1959 and 1970 (zoom in a bit), you can see that 280 (a.k.a the Florida Short Route) didn't run through that spot in former, but did in the latter.
