Terracon is an Olathe, Kansas-based engineering firm with more than 130 offices in 39 states. It entered the Birmingham market when it acquired Gallet & Associates in 2009.
Terracon promoted Alain Gallet to national director of its energy industry sector and named Terrell Rippstein to manage its Birmingham office in the former Entrepreneurial Center at 110 12th Street North. That office was later moved to 2147 Riverchase Office Road in Hoover.
