The Lighthouse was a gay-friendly discotheque located at 1909 1st Avenue South in the 1970s. The club was operated by Birmingham After Hours, Inc. and was open only to members. The Lighthouse produced a weekly newsletter highlighting upcoming events.

The bar featured a lighted dance floor, inspired by the one at The Club (which also inspired the set design for John Badham's 1977 film "Saturday Night Fever".
