Tuseven was a female East African oryx (Oryx beisa) which was born at the Birmingham Zoo in 1962. She was sired by Aphrodite and her mate, Apollo.

Kenneth Hunt of Vestavia Hills won a naming contest sponsored by the Birmingham Post-Herald. He suggested the name because her birth increased the captive population of her species in the United States to 27.
