VJ's on the Runway is a meat-n-three restaurant located in the former Air National Guard Credit Union Building at 5100 East Lake Boulevard in the Inglenook neighborhood of the East Birmingham community. The restaurant is owned by Caroline Sazera. Re-opened on July 11, 2005, the restaurant is noted for its panoramic views of the entire Birmingham International Airport. Formerly located at 52nd Avenue North, this location was closed on June 24, 2005, to make way for continued runway expansion.
