Veterans Skate Park is a 15,000 square-foot concrete skate park located in Veterans Park on Alabama Highway 119 in Alabaster. The skate park, which opened on April 1, 2006, is a joint venture of the City of Alabaster and Shelby County and was conceived by Ride Skateboards owners Brian Kelly and Tim Spinosi. Ride Skateboards moved their store to the park and provides management and instructors for the park's operation.

The park features a 10' deep skull-shaped bowl with bullnose and black tile ledges, a big 3-stair, a square rail 5-stair and a round rail 8-stair all with hubbas. It was designed by Site Design Group and constructed for $370,000 by California Landscape & Design in cooperation with Golden & Associates.

The park host several professional and amateur skateboard tour events and is the site of the RSA Skateboarding Championships and the Pat Wachter Pro Bowl, an official World Cup Skateboarding event.
