The Vulcan Life building

The Vulcan Life building is a 4-story, 51,127 square-foot office building on a 4.6 acre lot at 105 Vulcan Road off West Valley Avenue near I-65.

The modern glass-and-steel structure was designed by architect Fred Renneker and constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie for the Vulcan Life Insurance Company. It was dedicated at a public open house on January 21, 1973. A miniature version of the Vulcan statue decorates the grounds.
