The Vulcan Life building is an office building constructed on Vulcan Road off West Valley Avenue near I-65 for the Vulcan Life Insurance Company. The modern glass-and-steel structure was designed by architect Fred Renneker and constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie. It was dedicated at a public open house on January 21, 1973. A miniature version of the Vulcan statue decorated the grounds.
Currently the building houses Brown Mackie College. It previously housed offices for Regions Bank. The building is adjacent to and visible from Interstate 65.
