The Vulcan Spring Exposition was a 6-evening special event held from May 17 through 22, 1965 at the Alabama State Fairgrounds' grandstand.

Shows consisted of Gospel performances at 7:00 followed by a fireworks show at 8:30 and "today's young singing sensations" at 9:00 each evening. Entertainers included Johnny Tillotson, Johnny Paris & the Hurricanes, J. G. Whitfield & the Florida Boys, Hal Kennedy, the Dixie Echoes, the Happy Goodman Family, Brother Howie Lister and the Statesmen Quartet, the Thrasher Brothers, the Fabulous Gospel Dee's, Klaudt Indian Family, Wendy Bogwell and the Sunliters, Deep South Quartet, Ron Blackwood Quartet, the Georgians Quartet, the Luttrells, and the Lovetts.
