We Love Homewood Day is an annual civic festival begun in 1986 and sponsored by the city of Homewood.
2005
In 2005, We Love Homewood Day was held May 7. It featured activities at Homewood Patriot Park a parade from the Homewood Public Library to the Edgewood Business District. At the conclusion of the parade, a Quality of Life award was presented to Homewood High School football coach Bob Newton.
2006
The 2006 event was held May 6, marking the 20th year of the event.
2007
The 2007 We Love Homewood Day is scheduled for May 5. The day includes a "Spring in the Park" festival at Homewood Patriot Park from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a parade from the Homewood Public Library to the Edgewood Business District at 6:00 PM, and a "Family Street Dance" in the business district from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
