Zeigler Research Building plaque

The Rebel and Sophie C. Zeigler Medical Research Building is a ten story, 60,000 square foot research building located at 703 19th Street South. It was constructed in 1971 and named for Rebel and Sophie C. Zeigler. It is adjacent to the Lyons Harrison Research Building and is also connected to the McCallum Basic Health Sciences Building. It was dedicated on October 6, 1971.

At the time that the building opened, it also had space allocated for the Cardiovascular Research and Training Center and the Institute of Dental Research.
