The 2008 SEC Baseball Tournament was held on May 21-25, 2008 at Regions Park. LSU won the tournament. This was the tournament's 11th consecutive year in Hoover and was played before crowds totaling ____.
The 2008 tournament featured a "flipped bracket" format for the first time. This means that after two days of play the undefeated team from each bracket moved into the other bracket for Round 4. This reduced the amount of rematches teams had to play in order to win the tournament.

- Game 5: South Carolina eliminated Florida, 11-3
- Game 6: Alabama eliminated #1 seed Georgia, 5-2
- Game 7: LSU 8, Vanderbilt 2
- Game 8: Ole Miss 5, Kentucky 4
Round 3
- Game 9: Vanderbilt eliminated South Carolina 7-5
- Game 10: Alabama eliminated Kentucky 13-4
Round 4
- Game 11: Vanderbilt 7, Ole Miss 4 to force Game 13 for elimination
- Game 12: LSU eliminated Alabama 12-8
- Game 13: Ole Miss eliminated Vanderbilt 8-7
Final
- LSU defeated Ole Miss 8-2 before a crowd of 11,123. The Tigers extended their winning streak to a nation-leading 20 games, and recieved the automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.
