Andrew "Andy" Virciglio is a fourth-generation Birmingham grocer and one of the partners that founded Tria Market. He has worked since he was 11 years old for his father, Stanley Virciglio in the family's Piggly-Wiggly stores in Crestline and Homewood. He partnered with fellow Piggly-Wiggly operators Naseem and Basim Ajlouny to create the concept for Tria, which opened its first location in Homewood's SoHo Square.
Virciglio is a graduate of Vestavia Hills High School and Birmingham-Southern College. He and his wife Mimi are active supporters of both schools and active members of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
