Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital, founded in 1973 as Brookwood Hospital, is a 595-bed full-service acute care hospital located at 2010 Brookwood Medical Center Drive, off of U.S. Highway 31 (Independence Drive) on the north slope of Shades Mountain above the Brookwood Village shopping center in Homewood. The hospital's CEO is Jeremy Clark.

Brookwood Health Services merged with American Medical International in 1981. National Medical Enterprises acquired AMI in 1995 and changed its name to Tenet Healthcare. Tenet acquired Baptist Health System in October 2015 to form Brookwood Baptist Health. The hospital began to operate as Brookwood Baptist Medical Center.

In November 2021 Brookwood Baptist broke ground on a new 18,922-square-foot surgery center with 13 operating rooms. Robins & Morton was the contractor for the $30 million project.

In 2022 Brookwood Baptist sold four professional office buildings on its campus to Welltower Inc. of Toledo, Ohio for a combined $148 million. The hospital broke ground on an expansion containing 10 new operating rooms in 2021.

In October 2024 Tenet Healthcare sold a majority interest in Brookwood Baptist Health to the nonprofit Orlando Health. The hospital took its present name in January 2025.
