Ben Hudson
Ben Hudson is the principal of Mountain Brook Junior High School, beginning his tenure in the 2008–2009 school year.
Hudson earned his bachelor's degree in history from the University of Alabama. He then went on to get his certification in Secondary Education at the University of North Alabama, an M.A. in Political Science, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from UAB.
Hudson was a history teacher at Hewitt-Trussville High School starting in 1991. In 1998 he became assistant principal of Tarrant High School, serving there until he took the assistant principal position of Mountain Brook High School in 2002. In 2008 he was appointed principal of Mountain Brook Junior High School to replace the retiring Garry Rickard.
Hudson and his wife, Cathleen, live in Hoover with three children: Ben, Claudia, and Lucy.
