Cahaba Beach Dog Park and Doggie Day Care is a 7,500 square foot private luxury dog park located at 3555 Cahaba Beach Road in Inverness. It opened on May 20, 2013.
The park sits on a 6.5 acre parcel owned by Ken Horne and his family. Members pay a monthly fee for access to the dog park. Features include tunnels, ramps, trails and water features, as well as separate areas for small dogs. "West Paw Beach" provides swimming access to the Cahaba River.
A separate Penton Park for People features playgrounds, a bocce court, meeting space and observation decks. The park also has a 15,400 square foot indoor facility with grooming, boarding, and daycare facilities for dogs.
