Cahaba Heights Road is a 1.6-mile east-west road running through the heart of the Cahaba Heights section of Vestavia Hills, north of The Summit. It is a part of the older Cahaba Road, and a part of what was later renamed Pump House Road as it provides access to the Birmingham Water Works 1890 Cahaba Pump Station on the Cahaba River.
Cahaba Heights Road begins as a continuation of Pump House Road at Dolly Ridge Road, just east of Little Shades Creek. It proceeds eastward, intersecting with Summit Boulevard and Crosshaven Drive, and below I-459, before turning south shy of the pump station and terminating at Sicard Hollow Road and Blue Lake Drive.
