Concord Elementary School is an elementary school in the Concord community of western Jefferson County, operated by the Jefferson County Schools system.
The original Concord School was founded in 1886 and operated in a series of frame buildings before a 1954 fire. A brick schoolhouse was constructed in 1956 at 6015 Warrior River Road. After much of the community was destroyed in the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak, the school was rebuilt.
The 68,000 square-foot, $12.4 million building was built by Wyatt General Contractor. It includes 24 classrooms, a computer lab, art and music rooms, a gymnasium and a tornado shelter. It opened on August 19, 2013.
