D. Denise Webber-Jenkins
Delorise Denise Webber-Jenkins (born c. 1970) is a paralegal and a candidate for Birmingham City Council District 8 in the 2021 Birmingham municipal election.
Webber-Jenkins was employed by the city of Memphis, Tennessee from 2000 to 2004. In January 2005 she founded her own Webber Paralegal Firm. She earned an associates degree in paralegal studies at Southwest Tennessee Community College in 2007 and returned to the city attorney's office as a liability analyst. In 2009 she took a job as an eligibility counselor for the State of Tennessee. From 2017 to 2018 she was engaged as a paralegal with the Birmingham firm of Crumley Roberts.
She then completed a bachelor's degree in business administration at LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis in 2016, a master's in business administration from Strayer University in Herndon, Virginia in 2019. She is currently enrolled in the juris doctorate program at the Birmingham School of Law and is pursuing an online Ph.D. in human resource management from the San Diego, California-based Northcentral University.
As a candidate for Birmingham City Council, Webber-Jenkins pledges to focus on crime reduction, rebuilding public education, and job training and business development in District 8.
