Dead Fingers is a music duo formed by Kate Taylor and her husband, Taylor Hollingsworth in 2009.
The Hollingsworths began recording tracks for what was intended to be for a 7-inch single Taylor to release, and producer Bruce Watson learned the couple had performed a few shows together as Dead Fingers, and it was decided to record a Dead Fingers album. Their self-titled debut album appeared on Watson's Big Legal Mess/Fat Possum Records in 2012.
The Hollingsworths added drummer Alan Rosser and returned to the studio to record Big Black Dog which was released by Birmingham labels Pipe and Gun and Communicating Vessels on July 15, 2014.
