Extra Space Storage

Extra Space Storage (NYSE: EXR) is a Salt Lake City, Utah-based publicly-traded real estate investment trust (REIT) which specializes in operating self storage facilities. As of 2024 it was operating 292 million square feet divided into 2.6 million units at 3,812 properties in 42 states and the District of Columbia, and was the largest operator of self-storage properties in the United States.
