Herman John "Jack" Nabors (born November 19, 1887 in Montevallo, died October 29, 1923 in Wilton) was a professional baseball player. Nabors was 27 years old when he pitched his first game on August 9, 1915, with the Philadelphia Athletics. He pitched for three seasons with the Athletics, and his final game was on April 16, 1917. Nabors tied the Major League record with 19 consecutive losses for the 1916 A's, the worst Major League team statistically of the 20th century. Nabors is interred at Montevallo Cemetery in Montevallo.
