James Jett

James Fredrick Jett (born September 8, 1940; died April 6, 2020) was a long-time member of the Warrior City Council, serving from 1968 until his death.
Jett was a teacher and coach at Mortimer Jordan High School and Warrior High School, where he was eventually promoted to principal.
Jett took a special interest in Warrior's youth baseball fields, which he helped get built. He was known to tend them personally.
Jett also served on the Cullman Jefferson Gas Board.
Jett died in 2020 after a long illness. He was buried at Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
