Joe O'Donnell is the publisher of B Metro and was formerly the editor of Birmingham magazine from 1987 to 2009.
O'Donnell earned his bachelor's degree at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1982.
O'Donnell worked on the Birmingham magazine staff starting in July 1987, but stepped down in 2009 shortly before the publisher, the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce completed its merger with Region 2020 and the Metropolitan Development Board.
Subsequently he formed Fergus Publishing to launch B Metro, a print and web magazine focusing on people and lifestyles.
