This article is about the pro bono practice operated by Birmingham AIDS Outreach. For the reproductive law practice, see Magic City Law, for the family law practice, see Magic City Fertility Law.

The Magic City Legal Center (MCLC) is a law practice that provides pro bono legal services, education and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community and residents affected by HIV. It employs four full-time staff attorneys who work with a larger community of volunteers. It was founded as a program of Birmingham AIDS Outreach and is housed in BAO's Swann & Co. Building at 205 32nd Street South in Birmingham.

Among the issues MCLC assists with are adoptions, uncontested divorces, estate planning, and name and gender marker changes. The program operates statewide, often putting on clinics or other programs with help from other attorneys as part of its outreach. The program is also a provider of wraparound services for students of the Magic City Acceptance Academy. Though it is not part of the organization's focus, MCLC attorneys have also lobbied for changes to state law and administrative practices that harm LGBTQ+ persons, and participated in court challenges to discriminatory laws and practices.
