Mayor of Adamsville is the elected leader of the Jefferson County city of Adamsville, which was first incoprorated in 1901. That charter was subsequently revoked, and the city was re-incorporated in 1953.

2008 election
Pam Palmer avoided a runoff by garnering 55% of the vote in the August 26, 2008 municipal elections to replace the retiring Terry Loggins. Stephen Adams (235 votes) finished second in the race. Johnny Click and Terrell Guy also ran.
2012 election
Palmer was re-elected with 731 votes to challenger Yolance Owens' 253 in the 2012 election.
