Mountain Brook Junior High School is a school in the Mountain Brook Schools system for grades 7–9, feeding in to Mountain Brook High School. The principal is Donald Clayton.
The school was built as part of the Jefferson County Schools system in 1956, but was transferred into the newly-created Mountain Brook system in 1959.
A 43,000 square foot expansion and renovation of the school was undertaken for completion in 2022. TurnerBatson designed the renovations, which were constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie. The new three-story building housed an entrance lobby and 18 classrooms. Additional renovations to the cafeteria, auditorium, and locker rooms were completed as part of the project.
