New Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church is located at 426 5th Street North in Smithfield. It was organized in 1921 and is part of the Birmingham Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America. In 1935 its building was addressed as 402 5th Street North.

Its first pastor was L. C. Burwell.
