OHD
OHD USA Inc. (formerly Occupational Health Dynamics) is a company which provides worker safety programs and equipment to industrial, construction and governmental clients. It was founded by Andy Coats in 1992. Luke Allen was made CEO of the company in January 2025.
OHD specializes in equipment to protect workers and first responders from environmental hazards such as loud noises, smoke, dust and harmful gases. It also provides testing and training equipment to occupational health professionals and oversees worker education and equipment maintenance programs. Its "Quantifit" program focuses on maintaining proper fit for respirator masks.
The company was originally located at 2687 John Hawkins Parkway in Hoover.
In 2017 Germany's Schauenburg International Group acquired a majority stake in the company. In 2024 OHD purchased and renovated the 2200 Resource Drive building at Meadow Brook Corporate Park to house its sales and administrative offices. The move was supported by just over $100,000 in tax abatement incentives from the City of Hoover. OHD sold their former building to an affiliate of Shaw Technology for $1.25 million.
