Todd English P.U.B.
Todd English P.U.B is a national chain of restaurants based in Las Vegas, Nevada and owned by restaurateur Todd English, a four-time James Beard Award winning chef. The chain entered the Birmingham District in January 2013 when it opened inside the Westin Birmingham in the Uptown development at 2221 Richard Arrington Jr Boulevard North.
The "P.U.B." stands for "Public Urban Bar", and serves modern English pub fare. Birmingham was the second location of Todd English P.U.B. and the first Alabama location of any of Todd English's restaurants. It was also the first restaurant to open in the Uptown entertainment district adjacent to the BJCC.
English was accused of sexual harassment by several employees of his Todd English Food Hall at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, who filed suit in 2017. Several of his restaurants were rebranded without his name. The Birmingham location was the last Todd English P.U.B. to remain open.
