Victor Ellis (born 1980 in Chattanooga, Tennessee - died March 25, 2008 in Chattanooga) was a middle linebacker for the Alabama Crimson Tide from 1998 to 2001. He graduated from Alabama with a communications degree in 2002. He then worked for the university's admissions office as a regional recruiter based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ellis was recruited to Alabama from Red Bank High School in Chattanooga. As a junior he was named to the Academic All-SEC team. He started every game for the 1999 Crimson Tide team which won the Southeastern Conference championship over Florida. In his career he made 145 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 blocked kicks in 40 games.
Ellis died in March 2008 of kidney cancer.
