West Woodlawn Baptist Church was a Southern Baptist church on the west side of the Woodlawn neighborhood that existed from 1907 to c. 1987. It was organized on January 13, 1907 at the home of Brother D. N. Smith at 401 49th Street North. It was once located in a Carpenter Gothic building at 4631 Georgia Road. It later erected a colonial revival church building with modern brick education buildings at 261 48th Street North.
This complex was transferred to First Baptist Church of Woodlawn in 1987. It was later remodeled to serve as the home of the I3 Academy which opened in 2020.
The church records are held by the special collections department of the Samford University library.
