Wilbur Jackson (born November 19, 1951 in Ozark, Dale County) was a running back for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He was selected in the first round of the 1974 NFL Draft out of the University of Alabama by the 49ers. He played 5 seasons for San Francisco, and then 3 years with the Washington Redskins, and was a member of their Super Bowl XVIII championship team.
Jackson was the first African-American to play football for the Crimson Tide, and was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 2007.
