Condoit

Condoit (originally styled Con.doit) is a software developer which publishes an app-based tool for tracking the design and operation of building electrical systems. It provides real-time data and analysis for electrical engineers, contractors, and property managers. Besides electrical performance and efficiency, the app can be used for safety and code compliance, or for metering energy use on specific circuits.

The company was founded in June 2020 by Jim Crapia and Ian Hoppe. The business participated in the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator. In April 2021 the company raised $1 million in funding from the Alabama Futures Fund, Alabama Power Company, Techstars and Overline Venture Capital of Atlanta, Georgia.

Until August 2021, the company's offices were associated with the Techstars Alabama incubator in the Denham Building at 1143 1st Avenue South. Condoit moved into 1,200 square feet on the second floor of the Hardware Park development.

In 2023 Condoit entered into an agreement to provide services to the Miller Electric Company of Jacksonville, Florida to support its installations of photovoltaics and electric vehicle charging stations. C2 Ventures of Greenwich, Connecticut led a "series seed funding round," for investors in the company.

Condoit completed a $4.25 million round of seed funding led by The Westly Group of Menlo Park, California in April 2024. Southwire of Carrolton, Georgia made a significant investment. The company hired Peyton Sherwood of Austin, Texas as chief technology officer. It completed a rebranding, designed by Wes Heaton of EquipmentShare, in 2024.
