The Local Color Café is a restaurant and music venue located at 5811 U.S. Highway 11 in Springville. It was opened in a former feed store in September 2002 by Don and Merle Dollar with Garry Burttram.
Merle Dollar's group, the Something Else Trio, serves as a house band, opening for visiting acts on weekends. Burttram is the cook, preparing simple southern dishes, often served with cornbread.
