The Forrestwood Corral was a honky-tonk located on U. S. Highway 78 in the Hillview community, about a mile west of Birmingham. The club was owned by Tito Howard and John Formby.
In February 1971, shortly after part of the club was re-wired, a fire broke out, destroying the building. The Hillview 78 West Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by the Birmingham Fire Department in controlling the blaze.
