Martin Nalls is the director of support services for Homewood City Schools.
Nalls obtained a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a master's in Secondary Education from the University of Montevallo, and an Educational Leadership Specialist degree from UAB, where he was also awarded Outstanding Graduate Student for the Department of Educational Leadership in 2005.
In 2007, Nalls was selected as Alabama Assistant Principal of the Year. The following year he became principal of Homewood Middle School, where he served until he was promoted to director of support services in the summer of 2013.
In 2018 Nalls was selected as "head of school" for the proposed I3 Academy charter school in Woodlawn.
