VASA was a pop band led by guitarist and singer-songwriter Josh Vasa with drummer Mac Kramer, bassist Beau Treadwell, guitarist Brad Lyons and keyboard player Scott Clemons.
Vasa and Kramer, who had performed previously as the "Kramer Philharmonic", formed the group in the summer of 2007.
The group played several festivals and concerts in the Birmingham area and appeared at WorkPlay, Bottletree and Zydeco, but shied away from becoming a regular nightclub act where there was pressure to feature cover songs.
