The Fennec is a planned restaurant, event space and live music venue located in the American Laundry Co. building at 1630 2nd Avenue South, on the southeast corner of Block 125, northwest of the intersection with 17th Street South in Birmingham's Parkside district.

In June 2020 a company affiliated with Craft O'Neal of O'Neal Industries purchased the building from Phillip McWane for $1.8 million and developed plans for its renovation as a music venue and restaurant. Creature undertook the renovations as a design-build project with Alabama Music & Audio Supervision consulting on the music technology

Jameson Cesar was hired as director of operations for the facility. Telegraph Creative designed the business' branding identity.
