Abhi is a full-service restaurant located at 300 Summit Place in The Summit shopping center. It was opened in January 2017 by Abhi Sainju, founder of Everest Sushi and the MO:MO stall at the Pizitz Food Hall.
The restaurant, which took the space formerly occupied by Primeaux Cheese & Vino serves a variety of Asian-inspired dishes made with fresh, local produce sourced through REV Birmingham's Urban Food Project. Bar manager Steven Bradford developed a selection of craft cocktails to accompany Sainju's menu.
In December 2019 a second Abhi location opened in the former Avo space at 2721 Cahaba Road in Mountain Brook Village. The Summit location of Abhi closed in July 2022.
