Kangaroo Kountry is an exhibit of Australian animals at the Birmingham Zoo. The exhibit features a walkway through an area inhabited by southern hairy-nosed wombats Wilbur and Victoria, several red and grey kangaroos, wallabies, plus a variety of native Australian reptiles, birds, and amphibians. It is sponsored by the Birmingham Coca-Cola Bottling Company. Kangaroo Kountry opened to the public on April 26, 2008, although zoo members were able to get a sneak peek starting April 24.
