Pinson Valley High School is a four-year public high school in the Birmingham suburb of Pinson located at 6895 U.S. Highway 75. It is the 5th largest high school in the Jefferson County School System.

Sports
Pinson Valley High School has won several AHSAA County championships in a variety of sports competing at the 6A level, including Boy's basketball 2009. The Pinson Football, welcomes a new head coach and Athletic Director for PVHS for 2009, Matt Glover, who previously coached at Moody High School.
