Loch Haven Park is a 17-acre neighborhood park located off Loch Haven Drive near Rocky Rodge Road in northern Hoover. The park contains walking trails, picnic grills, an open play area and a gazebo.
In 2009 the city of Hoover used a $5,000 challenge grant from the CAWACO Resource Conservation & Development Council and $8,000 in state funds to construct a gravel-paved parking area for 20 cars at the park. Construction has also been completed for a dog park at Loch Haven Park, using a $25,000 grant from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs. The fenced-in area includes watering and waste facilities as well as an agility course.
