St Peter Primitive Baptist Church is located at 2115 4th Avenue in Bessemer. It was established in 1911 and its present building dates from 1943.
Because of its role in the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights it was identified as a "movement church" by the Birmingham Historical Society.
