Myrtle Lee Tinsley (died July 22, 2012) was the daughter of Afton and Annie Bean Lee and one of the largest property holders in Rosedale.
The Lee family has a long history in Rosedale, helping establish and lead the community. Tinsley was the third of six children born to Afton and Annie Lee. When her father was murdered in 1989, Tinsley became the executor and administrator of the Lee family's extensive holdings in Rosedale. She sought to have many of properties rezoned as commercial, putting her in opposition of her sister-in-law, Adrienne Lee.
Tinsley moved from Rosedale to west Birmingham. She maintained an office on 18th Street in Homewood for her clients to pay their rent. She was assisted by her son, William Edwards III.
