The 2009 Samford Bulldogs are playing their 2nd season of football in the Southern Conference, in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (formerly known as I-AA). Coach Pat Sullivan led the Bulldogs to a 6-5 2008 season, his 2nd as head coach.
