The Cane Break was a restaurant and live music venue located at 1924 4th Avenue North. It was owned by Bob Cain and featured the house band The Cain Breakers. The menu featured char-broiled steaks and lobster. Jacket and tie was required.
In 2009, musicians who played at the Cane Break and the Sho-Boat Lounge reunited for a performance at City Stages.
