Warren Averett LLC (formerly Warren Averett Kimbrough & Marino LLC) is Birmingham's largest privately-owned certified public accounting firm. It was founded in 1972. The firm employs 725 people at 14 offices in three states. Its headquarters office is located at 2500 Acton Road.
Warren Averett acquired Burton, Canaday, Moore & Carr in 1995. It acquired another Birmingham firm, Schauer Taylor P.C., in June 2008. In January 2013 it acquired Gifford, Hillegass & Ingwersen of Atlanta, Georgia and Pender Newkirk & Co. of Tampa, Florida. In 2017 Warren Averett acquired Charlie Haines' Kinsight, a fee-based wealth management adviser with offices at 600 University Park Place.
