Henri's Notions is a long-lived bluegrass/Americana and Celtic band. It was formed in the 1970s at the University of Alabama by Jil Chambless (lead vocals/flute/whistle), Michael Bowman (fiddle/vocals), Scooter Muse (guitars/five string banjo), Randy Palmer (bass/bodhran/vocals), Mark Lanter (percussion/vocals) and Jason Bailey (mandolin/bouzouki/vocals).

Among many other appearances, Henri's Notions was featured in the 1988 Five Points South Spring Festival.
